Hey everyone,
I just stumbled upon a something really interesting - a book about MIDI orchestration and mockups. There's plenty of info on the site:
Guide to MIDI Orchestration
Unfortunately it doesn't come cheap; I just checked Amazon and they have it for about $75 - smaller, independent sites may sell it a little cheaper. I suppose there isn't that much demand for this sort of thing, so prices have to go up. And it is a 700+ page hard back in full colour...

Wow. That looks really helpful.
I defenitely would like to get this book, but since it's so expensive that probably won't happen. . . |

Wow, on down the page at Amazon you can get an older paperback version of the book. That is, if you want to spend $189.50! |
